Jimmy Reynold's painting grew out of his experiences growing up on the Chesapeake. He takes creative inspiration from the natural beauty of the bay and is inspired to create imagery that reflects the rich, complex and often darker history of the region. His paintings are based on old photographs, maps, and charts. He also relies on digital photography to create panoramic structures that make his artwork so original. You will find landscapes and seascapes that mix time periods. This allows us to reflect on our historical past. |
